SEPTEMBER: The Old City Hall Restoration Committee in Bordentown City’s Sunday Soiree Series of presentations, concerts, and talks resumes on September with programs that spotlight one of the region’s most famous historical haunted houses as well as an innovative art project.
Sunday, September 13 @ 4PM the afternoon that will focus on the history, haunted happenings, and upcoming tours at White Hill Mansion in Fieldsboro, New Jersey.
The circa 1740 mansion was occupied for three generations by the Fields family, after whom the borough was named, and is associated with people and events of the Revolutionary War.
Its varied history includes being the last home of American patriot and poet Annis Stockton, who had previously lived at Morven with her Declaration of Independence signer husband, Richard Stockton, a prohibition era speakeasy, and a restaurant whose clientele included mobsters and politicians.
The mansion has also become a hot spot for paranormal investigations that the Friends of White Hill Mansion schedule for public and private ghost hunts, many of which are available on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others.
Sunday, September 20th @ 4PM spotlights the Trenton Community A-Team’s innovative artistic outreach with a stop by the Art-Cart, a mobile art gallery and studio.
The Art Cart continues a phenomenon that began over 25 years when a group of individuals met at the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and began to develop their own art.
Since then, the group of self-trained “outsider” artists has expanded, has been the subject of shows at various museums and galleries, attracts collectors, and has nonprofit organization support.
The Art Cart made possible by a grant through the New Jersey Economic Developed Association’s A.R.T, Phase II, Program, travels to designated neighborhoods and areas to offer a way for marginalized communities to connect through creative expression.

Sunday, Oct 11th @ 4PM - Artists Spotlight: A presentation by nationally exhibiting visual artist and arts columnist Thomas Kelly. Also featured is Bordentown-based street photography and exhibition organizer Byron Aubrey and his photographs of Greater Trenton artists in their studios.

We're coming back, Bordentown!! PCM Theatre will be back in October at Old City Hall Restoration Committee for our newest original play, marking our 5th production in this historic building.

November 6, 4PM Veterans Day and The Forgotten War: Bordentown resident, past Army combat photographer, and former chief photo editor of the Philadelphia Inquirer Bryan Grigsby will present and discuss his photographs taken during his duty in Vietnam.
November 21 & 22 and 27 & 28 The Little Train Show with A Lot of Charm - Old City Hall Restoration Committee Annual Train Show continues. Check back as we finalize the details in the Fall 2026.
December 13, 4PM., Making Merry With Movement: An evening devoted to the history and meaning of the Philadelphia Mummers and a participatory presentation by the New Jersey-based Morris dance company, Millstone River Morris.

Old City Hall has become a gathering place for music, art, history, poetry and community events in the heart of Bordentown City. Our historic courtroom has welcomed professional musicians—including performers who have appeared on the stage of Carnegie Hall—along with artists, historians, poets, community organizations, and neighbors.
From our annual Train Show to live performances and special community gatherings, each event brings new life to this historic 1888 building.

From music and the arts to history and community traditions, our goal is to create experiences that feel special, welcoming, and worthy of this remarkable historic space.
Voices of Bordentown
Voices of Bordentown was a project of the Old City Hall Restoration Committee, created to capture some of the stories, memories, and voices of Bordentown City residents.
Twenty residents sat down with us at Old City Hall to share their stories. Behind the camera was a volunteer who also happens to be a professional videographer—with a career that takes him on the road, a wife and family, and a home and life of his own to maintain. He filmed the interviews and then took on the enormous task of editing the footage.
Little did he know what he was getting into when he said “yes.”
